Delightful, comfortable stay
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Limelight, and it has quickly one of my favorite hotels in the Aspen area.
The hotel's location is superb - in the heart of downtown Aspen, just 3 blocks from the Shadow Mountain lift - and features delightful views of the slopes from the windows, big soaring ceilings in the dining area, and one of the best apres in Aspen. The happy hour is from 3-7, and it includes $10 pizzas, sangria samplers, $4 drafts, and more. They also do a cute s'mores service by their outdoor fires! Another big benefit here is the huge complimentary breakfast that's provided - everything from a pancake maker to fresh fruit and granola.
The room itself was also incredible - spacious, with big fluffy pillows, soft sheets, another amazing view of the mountain, and some of the nicest bathrobes I've had in a hotel. The bathroom was well furnished and appointed, with a big soaking tub and shower.
The staff are helpful, quick to respond, and pleasant to work with - very knowledgeable about shopping and dining around Aspen. It's also a pet-friendly hotel, which is a big bonus for those who like to travel with their furry family members.
If you have any questions about the Limelight, please give me a call! I'd be happy to help you find the perfect hotel for your trip to Aspen.
