Beaver Run Suites
Great location for skiing and walking into town. We loved the layout and spaciousness of the Colorado suite. While generally in excellent condition, the appliances needed some repair or replacement. Can't say enough about the location if you enjoy skiing.

The room was just OKAY. We were only 2, but the place was really small. No place to put your clothes. The bed is only for 1 person, so someone has to sleep on the sofa bed. Not enough pots and pans to cook with. Need a fry pan to make eggs for breakfast. The room you go through for the pool and hot tub, had NO HEAT so was cold when you came in from being wet. They have a fire place but was not used. Need more towels when get out of the pool and hot tube, some days there were none, so could not dry off to get back to your room.

Beaver Run is the Best
I've stayed in my fair share of ski lodges, and Beaver Run is my favorite by far. The staff is extremely helpful. The amenities include an arcade, multiple hot tubs, and an indoor/outdoor pool, so there is plenty of family entertainment when the ski lifts close. Stay in Building 4 for an unrivaled ski-in-ski-out experience.

We rented a suite with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a full kitchen. There was plenty of room so that was a plus. The main problem was the master bedroom. The design of the units is odd with the giant glass windows and no outside source of air to those rooms. We were miserably hot every single night. We needed 2 fans on high. The lights to the resort are on all night as well so our bedroom was not only HOT, but bright. Throw in altitude sickness and we barely slept. Otherwise, the resort was fine. The staff was incredibly nice and responsive. They did try to help us with the heat, but it wasn't successful.

BR is a great location but I will look to stay at another ski in ski out next time. No room service during your stay except for towel refresh and beds made. I stared at dirty glasses the entire week. The original shag carpeting is no longer retro chic. It's gross. The whole place is just so tired and borederline dirty.

Beaver Run was great
Beaver Run - great experience from the moment we arrived. Everyone was as helpful as could be. Taking time to explain directions or what to do/where to go. Concierge gave us Carter Park to do sledding with our kids. FANTASTIC! Very accommodating and responsive to in room needs/requests. Parking was fine (we were late in season arrivals so that may have helped a bit ). Ski school - instructors were fantastic, enthusiastic and very easy to work with.

Everything a Mom and Dad need on a Colorado vacation
I've lived in Breckenridge since 1995 and have been creating Breckenridge ski and summer vacations since 1999. I know the area and have seen hundreds of families enjoy Beaver Run Resort.
Beaver Run sits right on the Breckenridge Peak 9 slope and 2.5 blocks to Main St. Breckenridge. It is so easy to get the kids to ski school, to bring them back to the room for lunch and to entertain them after skiing. The indoor/outdoor pool is a magnet for kids of all ages. There are outdoor hot tubs with incredible views and a very soothing SPA!
Moms and Dads will love the deli, the game room, the après-ski bar, the free around town shuttle, the wood fireplace and the breath taking views.
Beaver Run has everything to keep the kids entertained and the parents relaxing. Location and amenities!!
