Classic Renovated Jewel in Chamonix
I had seen the Hotel Mont Blanc years ago before the latest renovation. My stay last month was fantastic - the entire hotel has been completely renovated but has retained that old world charm. My room was huge, with wide plank flooring, sitting area and four piece bath with huge soaker tub, dual vanity, lots of big windows and natural light. I loved the cream and earth tone palette. One of my favorite areas of the hotel was the library - a lovely, cozy room located right off of the reception area, where you can hang out, work on your computer, read a book, visit with guests and family members. The Clarins spa is brand new and first rate. Since the hotel is located just off the main pedestrian area, it's quiet at night but convenient to all the shopping and dining.
