A great experience!
I recently stayed at the newly renovated Hotel Talisa in Vail and was pleased with the property. The suites are spacious and have everything but a microwave and kitchenette. It has a beautiful lobby to relax in with hot cocoa and a bar/restaurant right nearby. There were also homemade cookies at check-in which was a very nice touch for my 5 year old. The pool area was beautiful with nice place to sit by the fire pit, and the hot tub overlooked the river. I was a little disappointed that you had to have a spa appointment to use the steam room but you are allowed access to the Aria Spa which is attached to the property. The Aria is a bit run down though, as an FYI. This property is ski-in/out to the Cascade Lift and about 1 mile to Lionshead and 1.5 or so to Vail Village. Overall, I was pleased with my experience and think this is a great option for people who prefer the full service hotel style atmosphere!
