Lived it
We stayed in 212. The unit had an awesome view of the mountain. Unit has been updated except for the shag carpet. However, the floors were not cold with carpet on them. It is a two bedroom. Master had a king, second bedroom has a single and a bunk. The living room has a pull out sofa. The building itself has 2 outdoor hot tubs and a pool. There is a ski storage room with boot dryers. Just a short walk to Eagle Bahn gondola. Will definitely be back.
Great staff, good location, nice space and value
Pros: Secure on-site parking. Unit 414 had great mountain views, decent elevator access, a second bedroom with a real door that closed for noise control and privacy. We did not experience any noise from other units. Originally I bet that 2nd bedroom was loft space but the owners built up glass walls with good shades so our daughter could veg out and sleep when we might like to be up late or early. The kitchen & baths are very nice and fully stocked and the porch has a nice Webber grill. The living room is a really good size. Montaneros offers a secure ground level ski/boot check room with boot dryers and daily popcorn. The staff where fantastic, friendly and accommodating. If you are using OpenTable & Trip Advisor, go over your dinner reservation ideas with them because they are in the know on ownership changes, chef changes etc. Tables book lightening fast, stay on the phone with them or do it in the lobby with the front desk. Cons: The couch was a bit dated, though it was comfortable and this unit needs a "spring cleaning" for dust on the ceiling fan, behind the couch and decorator pillows. The regular cleaning from housekeeping was very good and I'm sure they are doing what they are paid to do. Ownership needs to put in a little extra 4x/year for those of us with allergies.
