The Sellaronda ski route

Arabba Marmolada provides some of the best access to the Sellaronda, a famous eight-hour, 49-mile (80-kilometer) ski route that circles the Sella mountain range via some of the interconnected ski resorts of the Dolomiti Superski region. During World War I, there was a lot of military activity around the Sellaronda, so historical enthusiasts should keep their eyes peeled for trenches, forts and other war-era clues.
