The Keg, a favorite Banff steakhouse, provides two locations, one in the downtown area on Banff Avenue and one at the Caribou Lodge. The Caribou Lodge is probably a better option for families as it offers a la carte dining and a buffet breakfast. The menu features a nice mix of salads, seafood, steak barbeque chicken and pub-style appetizers. The Bear Street Tavern also serves up some finger-licking comfort food from pizza to barbecue pork to gourmet grilled cheese and house-made salsa. 

Nourish Vegetarian Bistro and Tea House offers exceptionally tasty gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian fare for family members with food sensitivities or allergies. And in a place like Banff that has a plethora of steakhouses and meat-heavy menus; it’s nice to know that a good, meat-free meal is available during your Banff ski vacation.
