Copper Mountain Resort is located a quick 75 miles west of Denver on I-70. Most Colorado ski vacationers fly into Denver International Airport, which is about 100 miles from the resort, and either rent a car or hop in a convenient shuttle. You can also fly into Eagle Airport, which is about 70 miles from Copper. Ski.com would suggest flying into Denver International Airport, as it provides more affordable airfare and services more cities.
If you decide to rent a car you’ll want to head south and take the ramp onto Pena Boulevard when leaving the airport. Continue for 11 miles and then take exit 195 to merge onto CO-91 S toward Copper Mountain/Leadville. Continue for nearly a mile and then turn right toward Ten Mile Circle. Take left onto Ten Mile Circle. You’ve arrived at Copper Mountain.
