Getting to Vail is easy. The resort is located in the central Rocky Mountains of Colorado, just 100 miles west of Denver International Airport (DIA) and just 30 miles east of Eagle/Vail Airport. You can rent a car and drive, or take the ultra-convenient, relaxing and affordable Colorado Mountain Express shuttle service via I-70. But, the quickest and most convenient airport destination is Eagle/Vail Airport (EGE). EGE offers non-stop flights from 10 cities, newest among them are Dallas/Ft. Worth, Denver and Houston.
From DIA take Pena Boulevard to I-70 West, drive about two hours, or 120 miles West. Take exit 176 for Vail.
Take Cooley Mesa Road (main airport road) to Highway 6. Take a right on Highway 6. You will be heading east. Follow Highway 6 to signs for I-70 East and drive for 25-30 minutes. Take exit 176 for Vail.
