Morzine's the best!
This was my second trip to Morzine. I was last there in 2006. I was with a ski group of about 60 people both times. It was so great the first time that I wasn't sure if it could be the same twice. It definitely was. Both trips we got fresh snow the second day (20 inches) in addition to all the powder they already had. Conditions were great, the people were wonderful and the town was a typical charming village with everything you could ask for. Great restaurants, wonderful crepes, and very good shopping. Plus, you can walk to everything from most of the hotels. Shuttle buses were also plentiful. All in all, from sharing stories with people that have skied in other areas in Europe, (me as well), this is a place you never get tired of skiing in because it's so vast, so beautiful, and everything a ski area in Europe should be.
