Owned by Robert Redford since 1969, Sundance Mountain Resort is a year-round mountain escape dedicated to preserving its natural surrounds and delivering transformational experiences to its guests and visitors. Robert Redford purchased and preserved the surrounding 5,000 acres so there are no other resorts, infrastructure or any buildings over 3 stories tall in the entire canyon. “Develop very little and preserve a great deal” is the idea that Sundance was founded upon.
