Because of its high-Alpine location, the things to do in Val Thorens are outdoor centric. You won’t really find cultural attractions or big-city designer shopping here. But that said, the village fitness center provides non-skiers and those looking to take a break from the slopes with a slew of options, from a pool, sauna, hot tub and gym, to bowling and billiards. Val Thorens is also home of France’s longest toboggan run. Unfortunately, there aren’t any cross-country trails in Val Thorens, but nearby Les Menuires has some exceptional choices.
