For more than 30 years, the hotel was run as a family business by Mirja and Paul Kronig-Aufdenblatten, and is now part of the Matterhorn Group. The Matterhorn Group is a company owned by Zermatt’s burgher community, and also operates the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof, the Riffelhaus 1853 and the 3100 Kulmhotel Gornergrat along with a number of restaurants in Zermatt. The new management is keen to ensure that our guests feel just as at home in the Continental as ever, and that they can even take advantage of new offers. These include discounted admission to the Alpine spa at the Zermatterhof, for example. The Hotel Continental is within easy reach of the lift stations in the morning, and in the evening, guests are conveniently located right at the village center – just minutes from the Brasserie Lusi at the Zermatterhof, the restaurant Alpine Gourmet Prato Borni or the Grand Hotel’s “saycheese!” Swiss cheese restaurant

The Hotel Ambassador is a traditional yet modern hotel. Located in the center of Zermatt the hotel is the ideal place for sport enthusiasts and families. The hotel offers a restaurant and bar, indoor swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna. Rooms and apartments are spacious. The hotel offers a ski storage area.

Zermatt luxury self catered penthouse Zeus is a very spacious (180 m2) ski chalet apartment on the top floor (with lift access) of a recent chalet with an unmatched view over the Zermatt village rooftops dominated by the Matterhorn. Penthouse Zeus is situated in the Spiss area of Zermatt at the head of the village. The train station and the Sunnegga Express base lift are both a five minute walk away. There is a bus stop just outside the building.

Zermatt luxury catered and self-catered Chalet Castor is one of our four unique, and for Zermatt very rare, residences (our Chalet Gemini, Chalet Pollux and Chalet Ibron being the others): a luxurious three storey chalet with 4 double bedrooms. Its location provides the best of both worlds: spectacular views and easy access. 200m from the Matterhorn Express base lift station and resort run there is a street level tunnel which leads you to a lift (elevator) built inside the mountain, from the top of which there is a gentle 2 minute walk to the property and an exterior stairway. The chalet comes with an electro wagon and stair-lift which our staff will use to move your luggage and shopping as required.
