Big White grooms about 30 percent of its terrain, so intermediates have their run of the mountain with 54 percent designated as intermediate and 22 percent designated as advanced intermediate. Nearly all of Big White’s 16 chairlifts, with the exception of the Cliff Chair, provides access to blue runs. The best intermediate can be found off the Ridge-Rocket Express and the Snow Ghost Express. Here, intermediate will find a great concentration of long, groomed cruisers. Intermediate skiers and boarders also have Kalina’s Rainbow in the Sun Rype Bowl, off the Gem Lake Express. This run is among Big White’s longest and is an intermediates dream.
