One of the biggest reasons that Snowmass is reputed as the perfect resort for a family ski trip is in large part to its 25,000-square-foot Treehouse Kids’ Adventure Center. This state-of-the-art facility is the hub for all things children, and with a several perfect areas solely devoted to beginner skiers, including the new Elk Camp Gondola. For a groomer-loving intermediate skier, Snowmass is paradise. The cruisers at Snowmass are meticulously manicured every night (and some are groomed at noon every day), and for those looking to challenge themselves there are many different areas for intermediates to hone their skills on. Expert skiers looking to test themselves will find cliffs to drop, tight trees to navigate and fresh powder throughout the more than 3,300 acres of skiable terrain at Snowmass.

Wonderful skiing! Very few green runs, fairly challenging blue runs but enjoyable for an above average skier. Many black runs but some are very skiable for a blue level skier.
Book thru somewhere else
Very unorganized. When we arrived we did not recieve our lift passes that we paid for and they had no idea about it. When we went to get our skis that we had rented, and paid for thru booking, they did not have any info about it. We could not turn off the heat in our room, even though we called multiple times to have it turned down. Then we were charged parking although we DID NOT have a vehicle. Horrible horrible experience. BOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!!
Snowmass. Is the best
Our family loves Snowmass. Our girls have grown up skiing the mountain. Now I follow them around and they show me all the fun trails. It’s the best!
Top of the Village, Top of the line!
Snowmass is tough to beat for skiing, accommodations, food on the mountain, and overall enjoyment. We had a fantastic time with all levels of skiers.
Awesome!
We had a excellent time on our trip to Snowmass! This place is huge. 3 days were not enough time to explore all the trails. Lift lines were not too long and everyone was so nice and welcoming. Free shuttles were great help getting around. Will definitely come back.
Good Mountain
Large mountain with many varied terrain's. Was predominantly groomed when I was there making the number of good mogel runs less than optimal. No signifcant lift lines.
Great Lift System
I found the lifts to be well layed out to easily access various areas of the mountain. I was under the impression that Snowmass was mostly blue cruisers but there were some good blacks and tree runs.
Great time at Snowmass
We had a great time, again at Snowmass Resort! 13 of us from ages 72 - 5 skiied and/or snowboarded for 5 days. Snowmass slopes are beautiful, we love the scenery! And we enjoy going to the Mall and the Village. Danielle from ski.com always makes everything easy for us. Can't wait to go back.
Easy, family friendly, not crowded
Snowmass was fantastic. Not too crowded and the overnight ski storage made a HUGE difference navigating the slopes with kids.
Best Week Ever
vast amounts of terrain, never felt crowded. excellent snow conditions friendly & helpful staff easy transportation to other mountains
Snowmass is worth the extra effort
If you are thinking about taking a ski vacation over any major school break holiday and have not considered the Snowmass ski resort and Aspen, you really should. If you are driving from Denver, the extra few hours you spend traveling in the car will be regained by shorter lift lines, shorter restaurant waits and you will be rewarded with fanatically groomed slopes. If you are flying, the extra expense can sometimes be made up by not paying for airport transportation from Aspen airport to Aspen or Snowmass. Plus, the Aspen airport is the most convenient airport of any ski resort. Make your life easier by shipping your luggage and renting ski and snowboard equipment. With early fall snowstorms paving the way for a snowy winter, you should be tempted by now. Book your trip to Aspen/Snowmass as far in advance as possible to take advantage of discounts and best availability.Excellent

Snowmass is the largest of the four Aspen/Snowmass Mountains
I love Snowmass. It has something for absolutely everyone. With 3,128 acres and wide cruiser runs, it is such a blast. There is also extreme skiing terrain, mogul runs, and gladed terrain. Snowmass has several terrain parks and is very family friendly. The Treehouse Kids Adventure Center, for example, with its “parents free” zone, will keep the kids entertained and happy so mom and dad can have a break. Snowmass was designed to be a ski-in/ski-out resort and it has a large inventory of lodging right on the slopes. The resort is owned and operated by the Aspen Skiing Company, so I can ski all 4 of the Aspen area resorts on one ski pass. These include Snowmass, Aspen, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk. More skiing than anyone can tackle in one vacation! Call me today and let’s discuss a trip to Snowmass.Excellent
