Wengen is more ideally situated for families, making nearby Grindelwald village the ideal place for party animals. There are some choice options in Wengen, but they’re ideal for après-ski, rather than late night exploits. If you find yourself in the Klein Scheidegg area and are ready to start the afternoon revelry, head to the wigwam bar, Tipirama, which often features live music and DJs. As you make your way back down to the base are, be sure to stop at the Start Bar in the Lauberhorn zone. Continue down, stopping at Lager Bar near the Mannlichen chair, or Wasch Bar.
Once you’ve reached the base area, Sina’s is a great place to go for après ski beer, wine and food if you’re looking for great value and quality. If you’re looking for an upscale European après affair head to Tanne.
